- Freidberg, Bernhard
- (1876-1961)Israeli scholar and bibliographer. He was born in Krakow and moved to Frankfurt am Main in 1900. In 1904 he set up his own publishing firm. He later entered the diamond trade and moved to Antwerp. In 1946 he settled in Tel Aviv. He published Jewish biographies, family histories, and a series of works on the history of Hebrew printing. His Beit Eked Sepharim is a bibliographical lexicon.
